Team
Events: |
|
|
Team Events, like Team Development, are also based on the
concept of
Learning
Environments,
albeit an entertaining and informal one. Creative team
building activities provide excellent opportunities for
collaboration, supporting a conference theme, encouraging
dialogue, breaking down barriers or just giving participants
a link to and break away from indoor presentations. |
 |
|
Examples of team activities include conference ice-breakers,
active interludes and mini competitions to inject some fun
and energy. The main aim of team events is to get people
mixing and involved and, no matter what physical
capabilities, age, gender or culture no one is precluded
from participating and there is something for everyone! |
"Bringing
people and teamwork together" |
|
These innovative team programs are conducted with limited
formal input other than perhaps a short debrief or wrap up
at the conclusion, although they are often used as a
springboard to more
formal
Team Development
interventions. As a result, program options are essentially infinite being limited only
by the imagination of the designers (which is not much of a
limitation!), the venue constraints and your budget. |
