The committee organizing the conference wanted a fun, competitive day in the theme of “Battle for Middle Earth”.  The venue was Dooralong Valley Resort, on the central coast which was ideal for the 120 participants to partake in Olympic types of games with a definite twist. 

Even our facilitators dressed in Lord of the Rings attire and you could well believe you were in the middle of Pelannor Fields where the battle climax took place.
